Team Contractor Testimonials |
"I've been with Team Double-Click® for about 2 years or so. I started out part time because I was working another part time job from my home office. That soon changed and I went full time with Team Double-Click® Over that time I've done a little of everything for a variety of clients. I've done typing projects, graphics, phone surveys, internet research, transcription, answering phones, etc. I worked for a small law firm for nearly a year. I answered their phones, made lunch reservations, travel arrangements, set up fundraisers, invoiced clients, a little of everything. I am currently working full time as the executive assistant to a real estate investor. I've been working with him for about six months. I answer his phones, monitor his emails, set appointments, assist his students and associates, mailings, etc. Again, some of everything.
Being a virtual has been very interesting for me. Every day is different so it never gets boring. There's always something new to learn. And I get to work from home!! I currently work from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a one hour lunch. I've had slightly different hours with some of the other clients.
As for advice... I think you need to take your position seriously. It is a real job and our clients expect us to be professional and efficient. But that's easy!" |

“… top notch, class A folks! I could not recommend a better team!
On a daily basis, I am an admin for a real estate investor. I answer his phone line, I update his database for marketing his letters, I make phone calls in regards to his house listings, I call attorneys offices for foreclosure information, I also tend to some of his personal tasks as well!
I am very pleased with the work; I started out making “cold calls” to people in foreclosure and mailings for 2 REI’s in VA. Since I enjoy people and being on the phone, this worked out for me really well! I get to work from home in my zone, not someone else’s! I have been with TDC since June 2004, I look forward to working everyday, and I am excited about work now. I don’t feel blah about having to go off to work everyday!
The hours are flexible, the pay is great, the people are outstanding, I can’t complain at all! My advice to you is “just do it”. You will get to work from home with a great team!" |

“For a very long time, I searched for a reputable virtual [staffing] company I could work for. As many us know, there are lots of scams out there. When I read about Team Double-Click® in The Work at Home Sourcebook by Lynie Arden, I was very excited to research and find out more. After many positive articles [I read], I applied for Team Double-Click® and have been very happy since.” |

“I most enjoy being a virtual assistant because I am able to stay at home so that I can be here for my parents, not having to deal with office politics and not having to drive to work. You get to meet and work with the most incredible people. The people I work with are the greatest; the support and encouragement I get from both my clients and Team Double-Click® is fantastic. It is like no other job. I can't imagine my life now any other way or without these wonderful people in it. I look forward to every day, there is always something new and different.” |

“The best part of being a virtual assistant besides working in my home office is the variety of jobs I can do and that I am offered. It keeps things interesting and I learn more skills and keep on accepting free training offers to keep my skills sharp. You have to keep up with knowledge and training in order to be available for more clients.” |

“I developed fibromyalgia (a muscle disease) over the past several years. Initially, I was working 70 hours a week in my real estate career, as both a B-I-C and an on-site agent for a national builder. As the disease progressed, I became unable to climb around in new construction and do all the physical aspects of my jobs. I had a strong desire and financial need to stay in my chosen profession. I began to search the internet for telecommuting jobs. I went through many hours of diligence and found a lot of bogus companies. Finally, I discovered TDC. The testing is intense. After finally making my way to being on the Team and "on the bench"; I was very happy! I knew there was a Real company out there with a Real opportunity for me to use all my experience and skills that I had learned through my years in the real estate industry and finally I had found it. I have periods of remission with my disease, but other times I may be using a cane, walker or even wheel chair. None of that matters with this job. I can always get to my computer, answer my phone, interact with my clients and help make their work lives easier. That is very fulfilling to me. I may not be the multi-million dollar real estate producer I was, but I am very productive. This has allowed me to stay in my field of experience, earn a living and interact with interesting, creative and successful clients.” |

“Team Double-Click® was one of the few virtual staffing firms that I looked at where you could actually interact and work with dedicated clients without fees. I liked the fact that I was prescreened and that Team Double-Click® has a working relationship with the clients.” |

“I left the job market last May right before our son was born in June. As it got it closer and closer to the time I was to return to my job, I became more reluctant to go back. After discussing it with my husband, I quit my job and started looking for something to do from home. I looked at everything from data typing, envelope stuffing, you name it. After almost 3 months of searching I discovered Team Double-Click® and it was a dream come true.” |

“My son, who is now four years old, was diagnosed with hearing loss and developmental speech delays. I felt helpless, so after a long search and a long interview process, Team Double-Click® contracted with me. I love this. I get to be more involved in my son’s education. He is enrolled in a handicapped pre-school right now and I get work where my family needs me. I do not feel stressed out about having an appointment for one of my children (I now have 5) because I have some flexibility of my schedule. Stick with it. At times it may seem slow or not enough hours, but if you stick by your guns, prove yourself in baby steps, it will eventually pay off. You will not regret your decision.” |

“I was tired of spending hours in the car everyday. I was tired of living by someone else’s rules. Team Double-Click® offered me everything I was looking for. [I like] the feeling of appreciation I get from my clients. I never felt any appreciation from the companies I worked for before. I knew that no matter how hard I worked or what extra effort I gave that I was only as good as I was for that exact moment. Now, I know that my success or failure is up to me. The harder I work and the more effort I put into this, the more I will get out of it. I love being on my own and knowing I am an responsible for making sure the job is not only done, but done well.” |

“I’ve always wanted to work from home but since I had always worked in either customer service or management, I never seriously considered that I’d be able to. Then, I saw a link for Team Double-Click® online. I did some research on the company and then applied for a job. It’s been a great decision! I like the flexibility to work as hard as I want. With the jobs I’ve had in the past, I was required to work hard for a specified number of hours that someone else chose. Now I get to work on my own schedule. I may come in at 6:00 AM, work for a few hours, and then take some time to do something for myself. Then I’ll come back and put in several more hours before it’s time to start dinner. I truly get to run this like my own business. I probably put in more hours than I would at a typical job, but I’m a lot happier here.” |

“I needed to supplement our income. After reviewing the job offers I had gotten (which were pretty good for this area), realized that by the time I paid for daycare, gas, etc. I would barely be bringing home anything at all for a lot of hard work and hassle. I needed something better, and wanted to be able to raise my own young children. A friend who was going through the interview process with Team Double-Click® clued me into the possibilities here, and the rest is history!” |
